Experience

  • 10 to 15 years of expertise in overseas technical consultation and customer relationship management within industrial automation domain involving software and hardware.
  • Proven track record in lead generation, client relationship management, sales strategy and planning, product knowledge, sales presentations and demonstrations, sales negotiation and closing, and sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Specialization in industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Utilities & Energy, Oil & Gas, Labs, Pharma, Automotives and Machinery industries

Mandatory skills

  • Proficient in profit generation, sales growth, and product promotion.
  • Skilled in techno-commercial proposals and negotiating contracts.
  • Expertise in consulting for industrial automation.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless devices and technologies.
  • Confidence and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Actively work with a US based sales team head and engage with potential customers in the North American market to understand their strategic objectives.
  • Foster growth by proactively generating new leads.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients to ensure retention and account growth.
  • Develop comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market penetration.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations showcasing company offerings.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRMs.
  • Overseas travel to customer sites, if required, after an year in the role.
